KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Rooters-N-Tooters TN won American Royal World Series of Barbecue - Invitational Contest, best of 158 invited teams; TRIPLE H BBQ took reserve. An invite-only field, so it leaves the power rating alone and goes straight into the record book.
Across November 2025, 11 sanctioned contests were scored, across 6 states and provinces, drawing 798 teams to the turn-in table. Judges made 379 top-ten calls and handed out 59 perfect 180s. 112 teams appear in the record for the first time. The full standings run on B1.
