GADSDEN, Ala. — Cocamoke Smoke BBQ won 4th Annual KCBS World Invitational - OPEN, best of 91 invited teams; WEQ4U took reserve. An invite-only field, so it leaves the power rating alone and goes straight into the record book.
Across November 2022, 16 sanctioned contests were scored, across 9 states and provinces, drawing 353 teams to the turn-in table. Judges made 535 top-ten calls and handed out 30 perfect 180s. 39 teams appear in the record for the first time. The full standings run on B1.
