Method

  1. 1Coat the raw almonds in olive oil so the seasoning sticks.
  2. 2Toss the almonds generously with Sweet Chipotle Dry Rub.
  3. 3Set the pellet smoker to 225°F with a blend of hickory, oak, and maple pellets.
  4. 4Spread the almonds in a single layer and smoke low and slow until smoky and crunchy, stirring occasionally.
  5. 5Cool completely and serve as a snack, in trail mix, on salads, or alongside a cheese dip.
