Method

  1. 1Smoke the green beans on a pellet grill at 300°F for 20 minutes, then finish at 400°F for a total roast time of 35 minutes.
  2. 2Rest the beans for a couple of hours to release CO₂.
  3. 3Shake them through a strainer to remove the husks.
  4. 4Let sit overnight in a loosely sealed container for a full 24-hour off-gas.
  5. 5Grind and brew.
