LYNCHBURG, Tenn. — GETTIN' BASTED won the 2021 Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational in Lynchburg, Tenn., with 703.4172 out of 720, 3.8972 points clear of SLAPS BBQ, the reserve grand champion. 70 teams were invited.
It was their 2nd Jack Daniel’s, and the first time they had won it. The win was their 11th Grand Championship of 2021. On the way they finished 26th in chicken, 3rd in pork ribs, 4th in pork and 3rd in brisket.
The meats went to SLAPS BBQ in chicken (180), SHAKE 'N BAKE BBQ in pork ribs (178.8572), Grey Street BBQ in pork (178.8800) and Poppa Pig in brisket (178.2972).
