Where the data comes from

Everything is compiled from the results Memphis Barbecue Network publishes publicly on memphisbbqnetwork.com. Every contest page links back to its official source document, so you can always check the original.

The collector reads each site's robots.txt before every request, honours whatever crawl rate it asks for, and identifies itself honestly with a contact address. Anything a site asks us not to read, we do not read.
